HTC One A9 and Desire 828 Launched In India

HTC has today launched the One A9 at an event in the national capital Delhi. It has become the first Smartphone from HTC be launched with Android V.6.0 Marshmallow out-of –the box, but it is yet to reach India. The One A9 will be available in different color options – carbon gray, topaz gold, opal silver, deep garnet, acid gold and cast iron color options.

This new HTC one series phone pulls off a new design, however, looks striking similar to iPhone 6S. Unlike its predecessors, the A9 has a flat back and sports a smaller camera lens. On the top, it flaunts a bright 5.5-inch full HD display with 2.5D Corning Glass 4 protection layered on top of it. HTC has placed a Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 octa-core processor of which four A53 cortex cores clocked at 1.5 GHz and other four A-53 cortex core tricking at 1.2 GHz. The SoC gets assistance from Andreno 405 GPU.

The home button in the phone has a fingerprint scanner implanted in it, which comes handy in conveniently unlocking it. Since the One A9 comes with Android Marshmallow running out of the box, the fingerprint scanner can also be used to authenticate payments on Google Play Store.

The Taiwanese smartphone maker has placed a 13-megapixel sensor at the back side with ƒ/2.0 large aperture, auto-focus, optical image stabilization, RAW image capturing and 1080p video recording capability. For selife lovers, it comes with a 4-megapixel ultra pixel camra with a bright f/2.0 aperture.

In terms of connectivity, HTC One A9 offers dual SIM, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS.  One A9 will be available in 3GB RAM and 32GB storage variant in India.

49632442 Apart from the One A9, HTC also introduced SIM for Indian smartphone users. The handset is packed with a 5.5-inch 1080p display, MediaTek MT6753 octa-core processor and 2GB of RAM. The primary camera on the smartphone gets a 13-megapixel sensor with optical image stabilization, along with LED flash and BSI sensor. It can also shoot videos in 1080p. On the front, HTC Desire 828 sports an Ultrapixel camera with BSI sensor. It runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop draped under Sense 6 UI.

The HTC Desire 828 Dual SIM on the other hand is a mid-range desire series smartphone with 5.5 Inch Full HD display, low-cost Mediatek MT6753 chipset, 2GB RAM, 16GB internal storage which is still running Android 5.1 Lollipop. Take a look at detailed specifications below.

HTC remained mum on the pricing, which should be revealed closer to India availability.
