A premier smartphone brand known for its class, HTC is expected to strike the market with a medium budget smartphone shortly. The device being named after the hierarchical Desire series is called as HTC Desire 626, code named A32. This device is expected to arrive alongside with flagship HTC One M9. Check out the Desire 626 review below for more details.

Hardware Configuration and Memory

HTC Desire 626 is a device powered by a MediaTek, 1.7 GHz octa-core processor and has 2 GB RAM. This makes the device swift and a quick performer. Another lower variant is expected to be powered by a quad-core Snapdragon processor with 1 GB RAM. DESIRE 626 is expected to be available with 16 GB internal storage (expandable by micro SD card).

A 2000 mAh battery powers up the set, which could be a little bit on the frictional side for the long run. But this should be good enough for a daylong of charged up company.

Camera and Display

Moving on to the camera, a high end 13-megapixel primary camera, with touch focus and face detection make it a good camera. Decent imagery seems no real task with the DESIRE 626. In a selfie inspired environment, a 5-megapixel front-facing camera is an effective lens for video calling and selfies.

A 5 inch HD IPS display with capacitive touchscreen is a general trend these days. The display has a resolution of 1280×720 pixels and provides a great visibility in all kinds of ambient light. With the HTC Sense UI, the 5 inch display works no less like magic to the eyes of the viewer.

Software and Other Features

The DESIRE 626 is juiced up with the formerly latest Android platform, Kitkat v4.4. This is nonetheless great specification of the device. The device is also Wifi enabled along with Bluetooth v4.0 and A-GPS. Accelerometer and proximity sensors add up to the main board configuration.

Key Highlights

  • Octa-core processor
  • Android Kitkat v4.4
  • Crystal clear sound
  • 2 GB RAM

Expected to be priced around 20000, DESIRE 626 looks like a matter of interest for smartphone enthusiasts.
