HP Elite Dragonfly launched in India

While carrying around a laptop, you don’t want to worry about its heft and battery life. HP’s new entrant in the Indian market checks both these boxes, at least it claims. HP Elite Dragonfly is an ultrabook that’s Ultralite, weighing below 1 Kg and boasts a whole day battery life. Let’s see what else it brings to the table.

HP Elite Dragonfly features

It’s an x360 touch laptop with almost 86 percent screen to body ratio. The display can hit upto 1000-nits of peak brightness. HP has used a magnesium chassis and painted Iridescent dragonfly blue color over it.

 

The webcam can be shuttered down for the privacy-conscious buyers. It features four top-firing speakers that are powered by B&O. This is coupled with four discrete amps and HP Noise Cancellation technology.

Under the hood, it is driven by an 8th Gen Intel Core vPro processor. On the connectivity front, you get optional gigabit-class 4G LTE and gigabit-speed Wi-Fi 6.

“The new HP Elite Dragonfly is designed for the modern workforce that will empower professionals to be free to work in their own way and unlock their potential to succeed in the new digital economy,” said Vinay Awasthi, Managing Director, HP India, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka, in a statement.

HP E344c Curved Monitor

Besides the laptop, HP also introduced HP E344c Curved Monitor with an ultra-thin 34-inch diagonal curved display that hits WQHD resolution and a 21:9 aspect ratio.

Pricing and Availability

HP Elite Dragonfly is priced at Rs. 1,49,990 in India while the curved HP E344c monitor carries a price tag of Rs. 67,000.
