After the successful launch of its midrange realme 12 Pro series, realme is now gearing up to unveil the Vanilla realme 12 5G and the realme 12+ 5G. Set to become official on 6th March 2024, these devices are expected to bring a host of exciting features and specifications to the table at an affordable price. realme 12 and 12+ 5G Live Streaming Details
realme will be unveiling the realme 12 and 12+ 5G on 6th March 2024, at 12 noon. While the event will be held in person in Delhi, the footage will be live-streamed online for everyone else to watch. realme 12 and 12+ 5G: What to Expect?
Both the realme 12 and 12+ 5G follow a similar design language to that of their elder siblings, the realme 12 Pro and the 12 Pro+. Both smartphones have a flat display and a strikingly similar design.
The realme 12+ 5G is expected to sport a 6.7” 1080p 120Hz AMOLED screen with up to 2,000 Nits of peak brightness. Under the hood, the realme 12+ 5G will pack in the MediaTek Dimensity 7050 chip paired with either 8 GB or 12 GB RAM and 128 GB or 256 GB of storage.
The smartphone will carry a triple camera array on the back comprising a 50 MP Sony LYT-600 main sensor with OIS, an 8 MP ultra-wide, and a 2 MP macro lens. On the front, we can expect a 16 MP selfie camera. The phone will have a 5000 mAh battery with support for up to 67W fast charging.
realme 12 5G, the younger sibling, will also sport a 6.7” flat 1080p HRR display but the screen type will be IPS. Under the hood, the device will pack in MediaTek’s Dimensity 6100+ SoC. The phone is expected to have a 108 MP main camera and another complimentary sensor.
It will be powered by a 5000 mAh battery with support for up to 45W fast charging. The storage variants are not yet confirmed. Finally, both phones are expected to be running in realme UI 5.0 based on Android 14 out of the box. Stay tuned for the launch event to learn more.
