Indian Railways Catering and Tourism Corporation aka IRCTC is an online portal for booking train tickets. It is the official website of the Indian Government which eliminates the need for agents or middlemen in the ticket booking process. Travelers now don’t have to stand in long queues to get their train tickets booked. All they need to do is create an account on the IRCTC website or app and book tickets online. The website also shows train availability, PNR status, train fare, tatkal train ticket, and more.
In today’s times when we have apps/websites for almost everything, it is not uncommon to forget your passwords. However, it is not something to be stressed about as just like every other website, IRCTC also offers ways to reset your account password. You can reset your account password via your registered mobile number or email id on the IRCTC app or website. This guide will talk about both the methods that can be used to reset your IRCTC password.
