Honor 8C with Snapdragon 632 launched in India: Price and Specifications

Honor is back in India with another affordable smartphone. This new Honor 8C finds its place in the affordable segment market and will be the successor to the Honor 7C launched earlier this year. Interestingly, the Honor 8C is the first smartphone to sport Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 632 SoC.

Honor 8C Features

Honor 8C features a 6.25-inch HD+ IPS LCD Display with an aspect ratio of 19:9 and screen-to-body ratio of 86.6%. The device holds Snapdragon 632 processor under the hood, that is supported with Adreno 506 GPU. The phone includes 4GB RAM and comes in two storage variants: 32GB and 64GB. The internal storage is expandable up to 256GB with a microSD card. And the phone has a dedicated card slot.

Honor 8C features a dual AI camera setup on the rear consisting of a 13MP (f/1.8 aperture) primary lens and 2MP depth sensor. The dual camera arrangement is supported by an LED flash. On the front, we have an 8MP selfie camera for selfies. The display acts as a soft flashlight for the front camera sensor providing three brightness levels. This LCD light compensation also allows the phone to be unlocked with face unlock at night time.

The Honor 8C runs on Android 8.1 Oreo-based EMUI 8.2 lite. It supports WiFi Bridging for up to 4 devices. This phone houses a battery of 4000 mAh and is available in two color variants: Blue and Black.

Honor 8C Price and Availability

The Honor 8C 4GB+ 32GB variant has been given a price tag of Rs.11,999 and the 4GB + 64GB variant is priced at Rs.12,999. The phone will be available for purchase from 10th December exclusively on Amazon.
