Honor has introduced three new phones – Honor 30, Honor 30 Pro and Honor 30 Pro+. The naming scheme resembles the Huawei P40 series and similarly, the ‘Pro+’ bags the best of specs and features. There is a 50MP triple camera stack, Kirin 990 chipset, a 40W high-speed charger and a lot more here. Let’s breakdown each of the phone’s offerings, followed by pricing details.

- Honor 30 Pro+ with a score of 125, stands at the second spot on DxOMark rankings.
- Honor is calling the Honor 30 as the compact 5G phone.
- All the three phones embellish a 50MP primary shooter, 50x digital zoom (thanks to a periscope lens setup), amongst other things.
- Honor 30 comes with the all-new Kirin 985 chip while the rest run on Kirin 990.
- They ship with Android 10 based Magic UI 3.1.1. w/o Google app suite.
Honor 30 Pro+ Features
Upfront, the phone decks up a 6.57-inch curved OLED panel with dual punch-hole cutout, 1080p FHD+ resolution, 90Hz refresh rate, and 180Hz touch sampling rate.
Within that, pill-shaped furrow, you have 32MP + 8MP (ultrawide) duo. Swivel to the back and you get the phone’s camera troika. The constituents are:
- 50MP RYYB Sony IMX700 primary sensor
- Periscope Telephoto Lens with 5x optical zoom, 10x hybrid zoom and a whopping 50x digital zoom.

The connectivity options include Wifi 6+, dual-mode 5G and NFC. You also get a vapor chamber heat dissipation mechanism and stereo speakers with Histen sound effects also in the mix. A 4000mAh battery keeps the phone alive and ticking. It supports 40W wired charging and 27W wireless option.

The phones are launched in China and will be up for pre-orders on April 21 at 10:08 AM. Here are the prices –
