Oppo K1, the cheapest phone with an in-display sensor, was officially launched in India recently and tomorrow it will go on sale for the first time. As a part of the introductory offer, Oppo and Flipkart are offering an exciting deal on the phone which brings the effective cost to zero. Yes, that’s correct. In fact, if you plan on keeping Oppo K1 for only eight months, you can get Rs. 1 per month in return for owning it.

Confused? Yes, it is not as simple as it sounds, there is a catch involved.

The Catch: You will have to buy another Oppo Phone in 8 months and you can exchange K1 for the entire value you paid for (or more). That’s a solid upgrade deal – unless Oppo has no plans of launching any phone on Flipkart in the same ballpark for the next 8 months.

OPPO K1 Sale Tips and Trick: How To Buy It For Free

Oppo would be launching its new phone for Rs. 16,990. However, using this neat trick you could use it for free for the next 8 months.

We would be considering two launch offers available with this device, i.e. Buyback Guarantee Programme and the 10 percent instant savings on Citi Bank Credit/Debit cards.

  • First of all, you may avail the 10 percent instant discount using your Citi Bank Debit/Credit card. Now, the effective price becomes Rs. 15,291.
  • Now, let’s proceed to the next part, i.e. the Buyback Guarantee programme. You could take part in it by paying a nominal fee of Rs. 1, which makes the effective price to be Rs. 15, 292.
  • Now, use the new device and sell it within 8 months for the Buyback value of Rs. 15,300. So, effectively, you’re paying nothing out of your pocket, and getting Rs. 8 extra when you buy a new Oppo phone.
  • The only catch is that you’ve to buy a new OPPO phone with the Buyback value you receive. If you buy any other phone than OPPO, you will get an exchange value of Rs. 8,500.

You will have to pay Rs. 15,292 for now, but can later exchange your Oppo K1 for Rs. 15,300 and upgrade to whatever new Oppo phone is available in the same budget then.

So, if you plan on buying the Oppo K1, don’t forget to club the buyback membership. This way, you will be able to upgrade and get the entire value of your phone discounted. Literally!
