Google is all set to launch its Pixel 9 series smartphones tomorrow in the Global markets, while the company has planned an India-specific launch for August 14th. The company has been dropping hints about the Pixel 9 series India launch since last week, and now their retail partners have ruined all the fun.
With the Pixel 9 series, Google is returning to the offline retail model and will sell the lineup via multiple retail partners, including Reliance Digital, Croma, and Flipkart. This is a big move that has been in the making for a while now. By going to the offline retail space, Google aims to draw in customers who would have gotten Apple or Samsung flagships otherwise.
Their online partner Flipkart has already jumped the gun and revealed that only the Google Pixel 9 Pro XL and the much anticipated Pixel 9 Pro Fold will be launched in India.
