Google Pixel 7 Series: Pre-orders to kick off from October 6 in India

Google India has officially confirmed that the brand will launch the upcoming Pixel 7 Series of smartphones in India as well. Google will globally unveil the Pixel 7 series during an event on the 6th of October and now it has been confirmed that the India launch will take place on the same day.

Google Pixel 7 Series: Pre-order in India

The official Twitter handle of Google India has revealed that the Google Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro will be up for pre-order in India from October 6, 9:30 PM IST. According to some reports, the Pixel 7 will be priced at around Rs. 48,500 in the Indian market and the Pixel 7 Pro will be priced at Rs. 72,800 in India. They will retail via Flipkart.

The brand has also confirmed the colorways for both smartphones. The Pixel 7 will come in obsidian black, snow white, and lemongrass yellow colors whereas the Pixel 7 Pro will come in obsidian black, snow white, and hazel green colors.

Google Pixel 7 Series: Expected Specs

The Pixel 7 and 7 Pro will both be powered by the Tensor G2 chipset. The Pixel 7 Pro is said to feature a QHD+ LTPO AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate while the vanilla variant is expected to have a 90Hz FHD+ AMOLED panel.

Both smartphones are said to have a 5000mAh battery with 33W fast charging. In terms of camera, the Pixel 7 Pro might have a triple camera setup (50MP+48MP+12MP) at the back while the Pixel 7 will have a 50MP primary sensor and a 12MP ultrawide sensor at the back. There will be front cameras as well.
