Google Pixelbook laptop with Intel i5, i7 processor, 512GB SSD and 16GB RAM Announced with a stylus for $999

Google has announced a high-end Pixel laptop alongside Google Homes and next-generation Google Pixel 2 phones. The new Pixelbook appears somewhat a mix of Lenovo Yoga laptop and Microsoft’s Surface Book.  (हिंदी में पढ़ें)

In the images and introduction video, the Pixelbook looks slim and stunning. It appears to be made of aluminium.“Pixelbook is the thinnest and lightest laptop we’ve ever made,” says Matt Vokoun. As per Google, it’s “just around 10mm thin and weighs about a kilogram. It can be flipped to use as a tablet.

The Pixelbook comes with a 12.3-inch touchscreen display which a 3:2 aspect ratio. It supports Google Assitant out of the box which can be hailed with OK Google command or using the dedicated key.Google Play store comes pre-installed and most of the phone’s app will work on the Pixelbook laptop. It will boot up in Google’s own Chrome OS which still needs to do a lot of catching up to compete with Microsoft’s Windows or Apple’s MacOS.

The 12.3-inch touchscreen display can recognise stylus input, therefore, Google has partnered with Wacom stylus for its Pixelbook Pen (sold separately). It supports both pressure and angles. It has only 10ms of latency which is certainly a good news.The Pixel pen also works with the Assistant for annotations. It requires an AAA battery to fuel the Pixel pen.

 Specs-wise, the base model of Pixelbook, features a 7th generation Intel Core i5 processor, 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. It comes with two USB-C ports for charging or accessories.
The Google Pixelbook laptop Price starts at $999 and can go up to $1,649 depending on your model. The Pixelbook Pen is being sold for $99 separately. Google will start shipping Pixelbook on October 31st in the US, UK, and Canada. Customers in these countries can preorders Pixelbook now.
