Google’s next wearable device Google Pixel Watch has been in the news for a while and now the latest we hear is that the Watch might get a launch during Google’s I/O Conference scheduled to be held in May 2022.

Tipster Jon Prosser has leaked some renders and information about what the watch would look like and what it would have. According to him, the upcoming Pixel watch is codenamed “Rohan” and will be designed to show the entire strength of the Wear OS 3. Read on to know more about its design and features.

Google Pixel Watch Design Renders

According to the renders leaked by Jon Prosser, the Google Pixel Watch will have a circular display with a bezel-less design. There will be a circular knob on the right that would help one navigate UI and scroll through long lists. The renders show watches having different colored bands- Black, Blue, Orange, and Silver.  The tipster also claims that the watch might have 20+ band options.

Google Pixel Watch Features

Reports reveal that Google Pixel Watch might have 32GB of internal storage and will be sold in 3 colors- grey, black, and gold. Pixel watch is said to have a host of health features which will include a gyroscope, accelerometer, and a heart-rate monitor. Fitness tracking might be available as well, however, if it will have a Blood oxygen level monitor or not remains to be seen.

Google also seems to be working on Fitbit integration for Wear OS 3 which will release simultaneously with Pixel Watch. This would mean that other Wear OS 3 watch users will be able to sync their fitness data to Fitbit and compete with friends. Google might also bring its virtual assistant to Pixel Watch and keep some features exclusive to its own smartwatch.

Google Pixel Watch will reportedly be powered by a Tensor chipset with Google-specific tweaks. The Google Pixel Watch is not expected to be cheap as it is said to come with a price tag similar to the Galaxy Watch 4 which is around 250 dollars.

Similarly, it is not clear if Google will launch Pixel Watch in India or not. Although reports claim this watch might see a release next month, Jon Prosser claims it will release in October with Pixel 7 Series. However, since there is no confirmation from Google about any of this information, all the leaks should be taken with a grain of salt for now.
