Google has officially unleashed its new Nexus phones in India. The Huawei Nexus 6P is bigger and better and comes with a phablet-esque 5.7 Inch display, while the Nexus 5X is a good alternative for anyone who values more manageable display and appreciates ingrained perks of nexus devices.

The size is not the only difference. Apart from the obvious difference in specifications and display technology (AMOLED VS IPS LCD), Nexus 5X lacks slow motion videos at 240fps, Electronic image stabilization and SmartBurst (shoot rapid shots in succession and select the best one, or make a collage).

Despite these shortcomings, Nexus 5X is a very impressive 5 Inch display (5.2 actually) smartphone. The biggest highlight is the presence of Android 6.0 Marshmallow, which is a very personal and intuitive operating system, thanks to features like Google Now on Tap, Doze, Run-time app permissions, etc. A fingerprint sensor is also present on the rear side which in India can be used to conveniently unlock your phone.

There are several offers to benefit from. With Nexus 6P you can avail double Airtel 4G data for 6 months, along with a free Chromecast/Bluetooth headset and interest free EMI option. The Nexus 5X comes with a bundled Bluetooth headset, 6 month screen replacement warranty and 3500 cash-back on HDFC credit card. Nexus 6P and Nexus 5X will be available for purchase on all major retail stores.
