Realme GT 2 Pro is the upcoming flagship offering by the company that claims to be superior to Realme GT in terms of specs and hardware. Realme today confirmed the moniker for the upcoming smartphone for the first time.

“This addition to Realme’s GT Series marks the starting point for the brand’s journey into the high-end global market and is another step towards pursuing leading innovations in the industry,” Realme said.

Realme GT 2 Pro Design Renders

Now OnLeaks aka Steve Hemerstoffer has revealed the first look, price, and specs of the Realme GT 2 Pro smartphone. The render of the smartphone shows a brand-new design language for Realme, that is inspired by Nexus 6P. Realme also confirmed GT 2 Pro officially.

The design looks premium and is a big change for Realme. The most noticeable design element is the horizontal camera mound on the back that looks similar to Nexus’ 6P. The module houses triple cameras and dual-LED flash cutouts. The engraving suggests the Realme GT 2 Pro has dual 50MP cameras and a GT lens.

The back panel looks like it’s made of ceramic, while the flat frame looks metal. The power button is on the right side and the volume button could be on the left. The front of the smartphone hasn’t been revealed, but speculations are rife that it will have a tiny punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera and narrow bezels. The smartphone is also expected to have an in-display fingerprint sensor for security.

Realme GT 2 Pro Expected Specs

As per OnLeaks, the smartphone will have a 6.8-inch WQHD+ flat OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen1 SoC and have up to 12GB RAM and 256GB UFS 3.1 storage.

It is expected to run Android 12 with Realme UI 3.0 skin on top. In the camera specs, it is said to have a triple camera setup. This will include a 50MP primary wide-angle lens, a 50MP ultra-wide-angle shooter, and an 8MP telephoto rear camera. The smartphone is also expected to feature a 32MP selfie camera and have 125W fast charging support.

The Realme GT 2 Pro is said to be the first smartphone to cross the 1 million mark in the AnTuTu benchmarking application. It was earlier reported that internal testing has begun and it could launch in the first quarter of 2022.
