On Android phones (and select Samsung phones), Assistant with Bard should be able to recognize the content on the screen and provide a conversational overlay. With Bard, Google Assistant should also carry forward the text generation and conversational abilities. At present, users can ask Bard to explain a touch concept, look up related content published online, and cite sources for its responses. From what it looks like, these features will also make their way to the voice assistant once Google successfully plus in Bard’s language processing model.

Google Assistant with Bard will launch in limited markets in the coming months. It will also be available in non-English speaking regions. The company also says that iOS users can access the improved voice assistant. It is important to mention that users must opt-in for the new features, meaning they shouldn’t be on by default. Moreover, Google Voice Assistant, with Bard, should provide a better, more personalized experience.
