Google has always worked to offer benefits to users in the best possible ways. Products like Google Maps, Gmail and others have been a boon for society without any doubt. We all know that Google has always rolled out updates that are beneficial for the large masses. Now, the company has released a new update which is small in size but quite efficient. The latest feature of Gmail allows users to track their upcoming packages.

The most amazing part of the same is that the users will be allowed to do so even without opening the emails from the courier companies. As of the current times, users are supposed to copy tracking ID from the mail sent by courier companies and paste it on the website of the company in the link offered to check the status of their package. The same steps have to be repeated every time a user wants to know the status of any packages.

Now, this process is nothing less than a hassle if the user has ordered multiple things at the same time. And now, Gmail will do all the background work for the users and even get updates of their orders in their Gmail boxes. As per the details shared by Google, Gmail will show important details in a package, like the status and the delivery date, under the sender’s name and subject in the inbox in Gmail.

As soon as the order proceeds, Gmail will send a summary card at the top of the mailing interface, including checkmarks that provide details like the order placed, shipped, or delivered. It will also provide a link to the order detail page and package tracking page on the courier’s company’s website.

In addition to that, Google has also said that Gmail will actively provide a delay label and bring the email to the top of users’ inboxes if there is a delay in any one of users’ packages. The feature will be rolled out for all major courier services in the United States of America. Further, it will be expanded in more countries, most probably India too, in the upcoming months
