Gionee A1 With 16MP Selfie Camera and 4GB RAM Launched In India

After unveil it’s A series at the MWC 2017, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer has launched its Selfie and battery centric Gionee A1 (first impression) phone on Tuesday at an event in New Delhi. This new A-series phone as per claims deliver long-battery life and superior selfie photo quality.

The phone comes with a metal clad design and measures 154.5×76.5×8.5mm and weighs 182 grams. Gionee has embedded a fast fingerprint on the home button.

As far as specification goes, the Gionee A1 sports a 5.5-inch full-HD display, and runs on a MediaTek Helio P10 chipset. It comes with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of Internal storage that’s expandable via microSD card (up to 256GB).

The company is banking on the element of surprise in context to its pricing and has yet to issue a word in this regard.

In optics, the Gionee A1 flaunts a 16-megapixel selfie-camera with LED flash. On the front and a 13-megapixel primary camera at the rear side with PDAF and dual tone.

The new phone comes out of the box running on Android 7.0 Nougat based Amigo 4.0 OS. It houses a 4010mAh mammoth battery and comes bundled with a new 18W ‘ultrafast charging’ that as per claims charges the batteries fully in 2 hours.
