Over the past few months, there have been numerous Galaxy S23 series leaks, covering everything from the design and renders to the specifications and more. Currently, a reliable source has published a detailed list of the Galaxy S23 and Galaxy S23 Plus specifications.

Today, the German tech news site WinFuture published a list of the specifications for the Galaxy S23 and S23 Plus, corroborating some earlier claims while also revealing brand-new information about the upcoming Samsung phones.

The Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, a triple rear camera system (50MP main, 12MP ultrawide, and 10MP 3x telephoto), 8GB of RAM, IP68 certifications, and wireless charging have all been confirmed. The retailer also confirms that the base model has a 3,900mAh battery with 25W wired charging and a 6.1-inch FHD+ 120Hz OLED screen (capable of dropping down to 48Hz).

The 6.6-inch FHD+ 120Hz OLED panel and 4,700mAh battery with 45W wired charging are reportedly included in the Plus model.

The Galaxy S23 Plus is said to come with 256GB and 512GB of storage, while the standard model will have 128GB and 256GB variants.

Additionally, it appears that both models’ selfie cameras will receive an upgrade, bringing a 12MP sensor with autofocus and 4K/60fps support. The outlet also points out that the rear cameras’ maximum frame rates are either 8K/30fps or 4K/60fps, so those hoping for 4K/120fps video may be dissatisfied.

Other alleged features include Gorilla Glass Victus 2 for the screens, Bluetooth 5.3, Wi-Fi 6E, an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor, and One UI 5.1 on top of Android 13.

We won’t have to wait long for confirmation of these features and other information because Samsung’s Unpacked event is scheduled for February 1. Samsung has opened pre-booking for the Galaxy S23 series in India and you can do that from the official website.
