Samsung Galaxy A12 with 48MP cam and 5000mAh battery launched in India

Samsung has taken the veil off its Galaxy A12 model in India today. The support page had gone live hours before the launch. Besides, the device had originally debuted in the European market back in November 2020. So we know a fair bit about the Indian edition too.

Samsung Galaxy A12 Features

Galaxy A12 comes with a 6.5-inch HD+ Infinity-V display that has got an aspect ratio of 20:9. Similar to the global model, the A12 also packs 48MP quad rear cameras assisted by a 5MP ultra-wide sensor, a 2MP depth sensor, and a 2MP macro lens. It will have an 8MP front camera.

As for the internal hardware, there a single-size RAM of 4GB and dual storage options of 64GB and 128GB expandable up to 1TB. The processor is an octa-core MediaTek Helio P35. The battery size is 5000mAh backed by a 15W fast charger. Among other things, there is a side-mount fingerprint scanner, a 3.5mm audio jack, FM Radio, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5, GPS, and Android 10 with Samsung One UI 2.5 skin.

Samsung Galaxy A12 Price and Availability

Samsung Galaxy A12 is available in Black, Blue, and White colors, priced at ₹12,999 for the 4+64GB model and ₹13,999 for the 4+128GB variant. You can buy it across major e-commerce sites, Samsung websites, and retail stores in the country from February 17, 2021.

The introductory offers include Zero down-payment EMI, Jio benefits worth ₹7000 (cashback of ₹3000 on the prepaid recharge of ₹349 plan and ₹4000 worth vouchers from partners), and double data benefits (on ₹299 recharge for 3 months or 3 recharges) for Vi customers.
