The year 2025 has started slowly for Apple, the tech giant based in Cupertino, with the only release so far being the Black Unity Smart Loop. 1. iPhone SE 4

The most significant announcement for spring 2025 is anticipated to be Apple’s most budget-friendly iPhone, known as the iPhone SE 4. This iteration of the iPhone SE represents the most substantial upgrade since 2016, aligning it with the current iPhone lineup. The iPhone SE 4 is expected to eliminate the home button, adopting a design reminiscent of the iPhone 14. Notably, it will be the first iPhone to feature an in-house modem, marking a shift away from Qualcomm components.
Additionally, the device is set to incorporate a USB-C connector and may even rebrand from iPhone SE to iPhone 16E. The iPhone SE 4 is projected to sport a 6.1-inch OLED display with flat edges, Face ID, and a smaller notch akin to that of the iPhone 14. While it may retain a single rear camera, improvements are anticipated, potentially including a 48MP rear camera and a 12MP front camera for enhanced photography. Reports from Bloomberg suggest that Apple Intelligence will also be integrated into the iPhone SE 4. The A18 chipset is expected to enable AI functionalities such as writing tools, photo enhancements, clean-up features, genmoji, image playground, and Siri capabilities. The anticipated price for the iPhone SE 4 is set at $499.
2. iPad 11

Apple’s most budget-friendly iPad is anticipated to receive an upgrade in 2025. This enhancement follows a two-year interval, with a primary emphasis on integrating Apple Intelligence features. The iPad 11 is likely to be equipped with the A17 Pro chipset, which was introduced with the iPhone 15 Pro in 2023. Apple Intelligence is set to include functionalities such as Genmoji, a revamped Siri, ChatGPT, Image Playground, and additional features. Furthermore, the iPad 11 is expected to incorporate new connectivity options, including WiFi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3, and Apple’s inaugural 5G modems for cellular models. Additionally, the company is developing a new magic keyboard for iPads that will feature a more conventional design.

3. MacBook Air with M4 chipset

Apple is set to introduce its M4 chipset in the MacBook Air this spring. However, Bloomberg has reported that the release may occur earlier than anticipated. Aside from the upgrade to the chipset, no significant changes are expected, although the inclusion of the new center-stage camera would be a welcome addition. The MacBook Air M4 is anticipated to feature a base RAM of 16GB and a nano-texture display.
4. iPad Air with M3 chipset

This one will be a small refresh too, but a significant one. Bloomberg claims the iPad Air will get an M3 chipset this spring and also get a new Magic Keyboard for iPad Air.

5. Smart Home Display

Apple is set to launch its inaugural smart home display next month. This device resembles the Apple HomePod and is designed to integrate with Apple Intelligence, featuring a more affordable display that can be wall-mounted and connected to speakers. It will feature a 7-inch square screen, comparable to the width of two iPhone 16 Pro Max devices placed side by side. The Apple HomePad is expected to operate on HomeOS, which combines elements of Apple Watch OS and the standby mode of the iPhone. This device will support widgets and include accessories that allow it to fit seamlessly into various areas of your home. Additionally, it will enhance the capabilities of Siri, powered by AI, with improvements from iOS 18.4.
