Next month, Samsung is set to host its second Unpacked event of the year, this time in Paris, France. At this upcoming event, Samsung will make several big announcements. While the Galaxy Ring will be the showstopper, we are all waiting for details regarding the Galaxy Z Fold6.
Earlier this year, we shared the very first look of the Galaxy Z Fold6, along with 360-degree videos of the phone. Earlier this week, we also revealed the Galaxy Z Fold6 pricing for the US market. And now, in an exclusive leak, we have all the specs of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold6. Let’s take a closer look:
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 Displays
- Inner Display – 7.6-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X, 120Hz, 2160 x 1856 pixels
- Outer Display – 6.3-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X, 120Hz, 2376 x 968 pixels
The Galaxy Z Fold6 features a 7.6-inch inner display marketed as Dynamic AMOLED 2X with a resolution of 2160×1856 (QXGA+). Additionally, the front display of the phone is 6.3 inches in size with an HD+ resolution of 986 x 2376 pixels. Both displays are adaptive and support a refresh rate of 1-120Hz. They also have a color depth of 16M and S Pen support.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold6 Chipset, Memory and Storage

The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold6 series relies on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Galaxy processor to ensure that it delivers strong performance for apps, games, and the phone’s new Galaxy AI features.
The Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 for Galaxy is an octa-core processor that consists of a big Cortex-X4 core running at 3.39GHz, alongside the Cortex-A720 clusters offering peaks of 2.9GHz and 3.1GHz, while the two small Cortex-A520 cores reach 2.2GHz. It also features an Adreno GPU clocked at 1 GHz. The Galaxy Z Fold 6 will come with 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB storage options.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold6 Cameras

Once again, Samsung will be offering a triple-camera setup on its book-style folding phone. The setup will include a 50MP wide-angle camera with an f/1.8 aperture and a 12 MP ultrawide camera with an f/2.2 aperture and a 120-degree field of view. The 10 MP telephoto lens with f2.4 aperture will offer 3x optical zoom and up to 30x digital zoom. These cameras support autofocus and OIS. Looking at the aperture sizes, we can conclude that Samsung is, once again, using the exact same camera setup.
For selfies, Samsung will be using the same setup as the one in the Galaxy Z Fold6. The front camera will be a 10 MP selfie shooter with an f/2.2 aperture. In contrast, the under-display camera will be a 4 MP shooter with an f/1.8 aperture.
The Galaxy Z Fold6 will support up to 8K video recording at 30 fps, 4K slow-motion videos at 120 fps, and 1080P slow-motion videos at 240 fps.
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold6 Network Support & Connectivity
The Galaxy Z Fold6 will come with dual nano SIM slots. Samsung will also allow you to use one physical SIM with an eSIM or replace both physical SIMs with eSIMs. The Galaxy Z Fold6 will support 18 5G bands out of the box.
Other connectivity options include Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, and USB Type-C connectivity. For security, the phone has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. When folded, it measures 153.5 x 68.1 x 12.1 mm and 153.5 x 132.6 x 5.6 mm when unfolded. The phone weighs 239g, which is a bit lighter than last year. The Galaxy Z Fold6 will come in three colors: Navy, Silver Shadow, and Pink.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 Battery and Sensors
Samsung hasn’t made any changes to the battery capacity. Just like its predecessor, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold6 also has a 4400mAh battery pack. While we don’t have anything on charging speeds, we expect them to be a little different from last year.

Per our previous leak, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold6 will start at $1899.99 in the United States or INR 1,69,999 in India. All the variants have gone up by $100 compared to their predecessors.
