Samsung launched the Galaxy M55 back in May in other regions, featuring the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chipset. In India, the Galaxy F55 5G was introduced with identical specs, priced at ₹26,999 for the 8 GB + 128 GB variant. Now, a very similar device, the Galaxy M55s, will be hitting the Indian market soon.

Samsung Galaxy M55s 5G Design Renders

The Galaxy M55s carries over the design cues from the F55 and M55. It features a vertically-aligned triple-camera setup on the back, accompanied by a flash on the right. The back has shiny stripes that run from the top of the camera array to the lower half, creating a unique look when tilted and shifted.

The right side of the phone has a dual-tone, glossy, sparkly finish. The left side houses the SIM tray, while the right features the power button and volume rockers. The device, as per the renders, seems to be made of plastic.

Samsung Galaxy M55s 5G Specs Rundown

The Galaxy M55s 5G will come with an 8 GB RAM variant at its base. It is powered by an octa-core chipset, featuring 2.4 GHz, 2.36 GHz, and 1.8 GHz cores, the same configuration seen in the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 on the Galaxy F55 and M55.

For display, you’re looking at a 6.67” Super AMOLED Plus panel with a 1080 x 2400 resolution, 120 Hz refresh rate, and support for 16 million colors.

The camera setup includes a 50 MP main camera with f/1.8 aperture and OIS, an 8 MP ultrawide camera with f/2.2 aperture, and a 2 MP macro camera with f/2.4 aperture. The front-facing camera is a 50 MP sensor with f/2.4 aperture, although it lacks OIS. Both the front and main rear cameras support 4K video recording at 30fps and 720p at 240fps slow-motion videos.

The Galaxy M55s will come with 8 GB RAM and 128 GB storage, in at least one of the configurations, expandable via a microSD card up to 1 TB (hybrid slot). Other notable features include USB Type-C 2.0, Bluetooth 5.2, Wi-Fi 6, NFC, and a fingerprint sensor.

Oh, and the device weighs 180 grams and has dimensions of 163.9 x 76.5 x 7.8 mm. The 5,000 mAh battery should support 45W wired charging. Finally, the phone has stereo speakers for a better audio experience.

Nonetheless, expect a price tag similar to the F55—probably around ₹27,000-30,000. Launch? Maybe later this month or early next month.
