On September 7, Apple launched the next-gen iPhone 14 series, and the world was taken by storm with the finesse of iPhone 14 Pro’s Dynamic Island. Sure, you might have heard numerous memes about how Apple has added a visual notch to hide its pill-shaped notch. However, many users loved the function, especially those who are on the Android side of the court.

Well, for all those we bring an app that has already surpassed the 1Mn+ mark and it’s growing rapidly. Dubbed the dynamicSpot, the app available on Google Play Store already has garnered more than a million installs and it’s growing. Let’s see what it got for the Android users who liked or wished to have Dynamic Island for any reason.

Android devices can now get Dynamic Island on their phones

Dynamic Island app on Play Store crossed 1mn+ mark

The app is still in its early beta stage, however, it has already reached a mark of 1 million plus amidst a series of apps that allow adding Dynamic Island that has started popping up on the Google Play Store. There are some bugs that the developers have recognized so far and are working towards fixing them as well apart from adding support for new icons and animations on the way.

About what it can do, it is similar to iPhone Pro Dynamic Island although allows for some more customization than the former. It lets you multitask, there’s support for music and timer apps allowing you to interact with the island with ease. It includes functions like play, pause, next, and previous on the music controls. There’s access to the battery, show distance, and more features are being added.

If your phone has a regular-sized notch, this app won’t be a bit to make it feel like an iPhone 14 Pro for sure. However, if you are using an Android phone with a punch-hole at the center or extreme sides or even a waterdrop notch, it works although it looks best for those smartphones with a centrally-placed punch-hole.
