Dell 2023 XPS series makes a debut in India with up to 13th Gen Intel Core i9 SoC

Dell has announced it’s brand new creator-focused XPS series laptops in the Indian market. The series consists of three devices – Dell XPS 13 Plus, XP15, and XPS 17. The high-end versions of these laptops include a 13th Gen i9 processor, RTX 40 series GPU, and a lot more. The latest XPS series of Dell is available in the market at a starting price of Rs 1,99,990 for the base variant of Dell XP 13 Plus. One can purchase the laptops from the Dell online store, authorized retailers, Dell Exclusive Stores (DES), and even from multi-brand outlets. Moving forward in the article, we will talk about the specifications and features of all three laptops.

Dell XPS 13 Plus specifications and features

The XPS 13 Plus features a 13.4-inch InfinityEdge touch 4K+ display with 500nits of brightness, EyeSafe certification, and Dolby Vision. The laptop has a glass front with a capacitive touch function row, a haptic touchpad, and a zero-lattice keyboard. It runs on the 13th Gen Intel Evo Core i7 processor paired with Intel Iris Xe GPU. Apart from that, it gets 32GB LPDDR5 RAM and up to 1TB M.2 PCIe NVMe SSD.

The laptop draws power from a 55Wh battery along with 60W charging support. As claimed by the company, with the ExpressCharge technology, the laptop can get fully fueled up in one hour and can go on for 18 hours straight. Connectivity options include a USB Type-C port, 2 Thunderbolt ports, Bluetooth version 5.3, Intel Killer WiFi 6 1675, etc. The machine also flaunts a 720p RGB IR camera with dual array microphones, a fingerprint reader, 8W quad array speakers, and more.

Dell XPS 15 specifications and features

The XPS 15 rocks a 15.6-inch OLED Infinity Edge touch display with up to 3.5K resolution and 400 nits of peak brightness. The machine works on the 13th Generation Intel Core i9 SoC paired with NVIDIA RTX 4050 graphics processing unit (GPU). In addition, it also has 64GB LPDDR5 RAM and 4TB M.2 PCIe NVMe SSD storage. The dual opposite outlet fans in the laptop keep its performance steady by reducing the temperature and increasing the airflow.

It is powered by an 86Wh battery along with a 130W Type-C adapter. The laptop can go on for a period of 10 hours once charged completely. It also gets 2 Thunderbolt ports, Intel Killer WiFi 6 1675, a 3.5mm audio jack, an SD card slot, Bluetooth version 5.3, and more. The device operates on the Windows 11 operating system, and it has dual 2.5W stereo woofers. For attending video calls properly, the Dell offering gets a 720p 30 fps HD camera with dual array microphones.

Dell XPS 17 specifications and features

The XPS 17 by Dell comes with a 17-inch edge-to-edge touch display with up to 4K resolution and 500 nits of peak brightness. The device is powered by the 13th Generation Intel Core i9 processor complemented with NVIDIA RTXX 4070 GPU for top-notch gaming performance. The same also gets 64GB LPDDR5 RAM and 4TB PCIe SSD storage. In order to avoid all the heating and lagging issues, the machine gets dual opposite outlet fans with bottom vents and a dedicated cool mode that also reduces the fan noise.

When it comes to connectivity, the laptop packs a USB Type-C port, Bluetooth version 5.3, 4 Thunderbolt ports, Intel Killer WiFi 6 1675, and a lot more. In terms of battery, the device includes a 97Wh battery along with a 130W type-C adapter. Apart from that, it also gets Waves MaxxAudio Pro and Waves Nx 3D audio tuning, quad array speaker, Windows 11 OS, backlit keyboard, 720p IR camera, dual array microphones, etc.
