CMF by Nothing has recently hinted at the upcoming release of four new devices. Among these is the second-generation smartphone featuring the CMF branding, which was previewed today. The company shared the rear design of the CMF Phone 2 on their official X account, confirming its imminent arrival. In this article, we will discuss what is currently known about the CMF Phone 2.

CMF Phone 2: Design

As mentioned above, the brand teased the first look of CMF Phone 2 via X. The teaser shows a rear panel with a matte finish. A brief video shows CMF Phone 2 with plastic edges and a screw that is holding the redesigned rear panel in its place. The movement shows a glossy, rear panel with a matte finish and a logo that is visible on the bottom left side that appears dark or light when held at different angles.

We exclusively revealed that CMF Phone 2 will have a single camera sensor at the back, while others claim a triple-lens setup—but we aren’t sure of its accuracy yet. Leaksters also claim that CMF Phone 2 will support an Accessory Point System to enable the use of a phone stand, card case, or lanyard.

CMF Phone 2: Launch Date

CMF hasn’t confirmed the exact date of launch, but reports claim CMF’s upcoming devices will launch in India on 2nd May. Flipkart has also shared a microsite for the upcoming phone with the tagline “searching for the right shot,” which means a better camera experience.

CMF Phone 2: Expected Specs

Leaks claim that CMF Phone 2 will flaunt a 6.3-inch AMOLED screen with 120Hz refresh rate and 2500 nits brightness. It will reportedly be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 chipset paired with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage.

In terms of photography, CMF Phone 2 is said to sport a 50MP main and an Ultrawide sensor at the back. For selfies, there will be a 16MP front sensor. It is expected to draw juice from a 5000mAh battery with 50W wired fast charging and will run 3.1 based on Android 15 OS out of the box. CMF Phone 2 might also be IP64 rated.

CMF Phone 2: Expected Pricing

Similar to CMF Phone 1, CMF Phone 2 will also be a budget-friendly option. Reports claim the 8GB+128 GB variant will cost Rs. 17,999 while the 8GB+256GB version will cost Rs. 19,999.

Since none of these details have been confirmed by CMF so far, we will take them with a grain of salt for now. Stay tuned to this space for more updates.
