After months of anticipation, Call of Duty: Warzone is now available on Android and iOS devices in India. The battle royale video game brings the fast-paced action of the PC game to smartphones, enabling a bigger audience to experience it. Gamers have already downloaded it from the Google Play Store or the Apple App Store. With two main maps, one of which has a 120-player capacity, COD Warzone Mobile brings shared progression, multiple playing modes, and new in-game events.

Call of Duty Warzone Mobile – Maps

Activision’s latest smartphone release includes two main maps, Verdanks and Rebirth Island. While Battle Royale (120 players) and Mobile Royale (78 players) modes spawn players in Verdansk, Rebirth Resurgence pits players in nine squads of four players each. Other maps included in the game are Scrapyard, Shoot House, and Shipment.

Call of Duty Warzone Mobile – New Features

The video game’s best feature seems to be cross-progression, which allows users to link their progress, including experience points, weapons, blueprints, skins, and Battle Pass tiers, across Call of Duty: Warzone on multiple platforms, including PC, console, and mobile. The feature also lets users sync their progress between Warzone and other COD titles, such as Modern Warfare III.

The mobile adaptation of a PC game offers similar controls to those players have already encountered in Call of Duty: Mobile. The game also lets users select from minimum, low, medium, high, and peak graphics settings. Although the frame rate is capped at 60 fps, flagship smartphones capable of higher frame rates also have the option to switch for a smoother experience. Warzone Mobile also allows for customized loadouts and weapon upgrades.

Call of Duty Warzone Mobile – Events

To kick off the game on a higher note and create hype around it, Warzone Mobile will begin with the Operation: Day Zero event on March 22, 2024. The event will give players a chance to win several rewards. The event consists of six contested zones, five for Verdasnk and one encompassing Rebirth Island. Players who complete specific Event Actions within the corresponding zones will get Event Points. The actions include:

  • Opening a supply box.
  • Eliminating an enemy player.
  • Completing a contract.
  • Using a killstreak.
  • Landing a headset.
  • Purchasing items from but stations.

What are Call of Duty Warzone Minimum Requirements System Requirements?

On Android smartphones, Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile requires at least 4GB of RAM and Adreno 618 GPU or above. Further, the game requires users to download approximately 8GB of data. While the Play Store initially downloads a 1.5GB setup, the in-game downloads occupy more space.

For iPhone users, the video game is available on devices that support iOS 16 or later (which leaves iPhone 8 out of question). The device should have 3GB of RAM or above. While the game file that the App Store downloads upfront takes 3.93GB of space, additional downloads can take another 7GB of the iPhone’s storage.

How To Download Call of Duty Warzone Mobile?

First of all, interested players should ensure that they have at least eight to 10GB of free storage on their smartphones. Once this preliminary requirement is met, Android users should head to the Play Store and iOS users to the App Store. There, they should search for Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile and look for the official app. Once users locate the app, they should hit the install or the download button. The game might take several minutes to install, depending on the download speed. Once the setup file is installed, the game will download additional files, too.
