Bajaj Chetak Electric Scooter Now Available in 12 More Cities

Bajaj Chetak EV has been around since January 2020 available in 8 cities across India. To compete with Ather 450x, Ola S1 Pro and Simple One among others, Bajaj has released the EV in 12 more cities. The e-scooter or electric scooter has app support, quick charge, 90Km range, and more. Here’s everything you need to know about the Bajaj Chetak EV.

Bajaj Chetak EV Pricing And Availability In India

Bajaj Chetak EV in India is available in 20 cities in India where it recently added 12 cities including Delhi, Madurai, Kochi, Hubli, Kozhikode, etc. This comes in addition to the 8 cities where Bajaj Chetak EV is already available in. Depending on the city and the state, the pricing for this EV ranges from as low as INR 1,19,684/- to as high as INR 1,49,350/-.

Here, Aurangabad, Mumbai, Nashik, Nagpur, and Pune are lying in the lower price tag while other cities are lying in the upper circuit. You can check out the two variants available aka Premium and Urbane. Color options are Hazelnut, Brooklyn Black, Velutto Rosso, and Metallic.

Bajaj Chetak EV Specs, Features, & More

The Bajaj Chetak EV has a max range of 90km to 95Km as per IDC when it is in Eco mode. You can change from Eco to Sports to Reverse mode where the Sports mode gives Bajaj Chetak a top speed of 70km/H whereas you can use its ‘Reverse’ mode for, of course, reversing the bike.

According to the battery spaces, the bike uses a 48V 60.3 Ah battery under the hood that should last for 7 years or 70,000 km, whichever ends first. The battery takes around 5 hours to charge with quick charge technology and around 25% with 60 minutes.

You get a 3.8 kW electric motor onboard that produces 5Bhp and 16.2 Nm of torque at its peak. There are LED DRL, LED lighting, Bluetooth-powered instrument console, sequential turn indicators, and illuminated switchgear to name a few.

Talking about the variants, the Premium offers front disc brakes while the Urbane gets a drum brake. Both the variants have almost the same all-metal retro design paired with 12-inch alloy wheels. There are abundant storage avenues both in front and back so space isn’t something to worry about.
