Ather 450 Series 2025: Upgrades

The 2025 lineup of Ather scooters features an advanced multi-mode traction control system. This system is engineered to regulate rear wheel slippage during quick acceleration, particularly on low-friction surfaces. It offers three distinct modes:

  • Rain Mode, emphasizes stability in wet conditions by implementing the most stringent torque intervention and restricting acceleration.
  • Road Mode is the default setting. It aims to balance safety and performance for everyday riding scenarios.
  • Rally Mode offers the least intrusive torque intervention and the fastest ramp backup. This mode is for uneven or challenging terrain.

The 450S now provides a range of 122 km, while the 450X with a 2.9 kWh battery offers 126 km, and the 450X with a 3.7 kWh battery extends the range to 161 km. Charging times have also been updated, with the 450S requiring 7 hours and 45 minutes to charge, and the 450X taking 4 hours and 30 minutes.
