Just like the Zenbook Pro Duo (review), the ROG Zephyrus Duo 15 laptop also gets the 14-inch ScreenPad Plus screen fixed just above the keyboard. The main screen is a 15.6-inch 4K display with 60Hz refresh rate. Asus claims that lowering down the resolution to full HD will offer 300Hz refresh rate. The 14-inch secondary screen runs at 3840×1100 resolution.

Out of the two displays, only the secondary screen can register finger touch. If you recall in the Zenbook Pro Duo Asus introduced ErgoLift hinge which lifts the deck slightly to offer better air circulation and improved visibility. In Zephyrus Duo 15 Ergolift hinge raises its base at 13-degree angle which helps the cooling system to keep the temperature under check. The laptop has an “active aerodynamic” cooling system which prevents from any throttling.

The new ROG Zephyrus is one of the first laptops to house Intel’s Comet Lake – H series processors. Asus is offering it with 10th Gen Core i9 or Core i7 CPUs. As for GPU, these are offered with Nvidia GeForce RTX 2080 Super or GeForce RTX 2070 Super discrete GPU.

Asus new laptop also features an ESS Sabre DAC for audio, stereo speakers, far-field microphones for voice control, Wi-Fi 6, and Bluetooth 5. The 90Wh battery can be recharged using the bundled 240W charger or any USB Type-C Power Delivery adapter up to 65W when not gaming.
