AMD Ryzen 9000 Series With Zen 5 Architecture Launched In India

The California-based chip giant AMD has launched its new Ryzen 9000 Series of desktop processors in India. All the processors in the lineup are based on Zen 5 architecture. They provide features like overlocking, PCIe Gen 5.0 support for high-speed peripherals, higher power efficiency, and larger caches. AMD Ryzen 9000 Series Consists Of Four Models

AMD Ryzen 5 9600X

The most affordable processor in the lineup, the Ryzen 5 9600X, has a total cache of 38MB, six CPU cores, and 12 processing threads. With a base clock frequency of 3.9GHz, the processor supports a maximum boost clock speed of up to 5.4GHz. Yes, there’s a dual-core AMD Radeon Graphics processor, but the default TDP is capped at 65W.

AMD Ryzen 7 9700X

Even though this processor has a 65W TDP, it ships with a 40MB total cache, eight processing cores, and 16 threads. The processor has a base clock speed of 3.8GHz and a maximum boost clock speed of up to 5.5GHz. Then there’s the dual-core AMD Radeon Graphics processor.

AMD Ryzen 9 9900X

With a slightly higher TDP at 120W, the Ryzen 9 9900X offers 12 CPU cores and 24 threads. The processor has a total cache of 76MB, a base clock speed of 4.4GHz, and can be clocked up to 5.6GHz.

  • The AMD Ryzen 9 9900X costs Rs. 48,990.

AMD Ryzen 9 9950X

The Ryzen 9 9950X has 16 processing cores and 32 threads. With a base clock frequency of 4.3GHz, the processor supports a maximum boost clock speed of up to 5.7GHz. Users also get a dual-core AMD Radeon graphics processor. Since this is the most powerful processor in the lineup, the TDP is 170W.

There’s support for Gen 5 PCIe, which provides high bandwidth for connection to GPUs, SSDs, and other accessories. With its specifications, the Ryzen 9 9950X can handle the most complex tasks, like 3D rendering, high-end gaming, etc.
