A new Fire TV Stick is likely to debut tomorrow at Amazon 2020 hardware event. With less than a day to go, a new dongle dubbed as the Fire TV Stick Lite has surfaced online thanks to famous leaker Ronald Quandt at WinFuture. This new 4K FireTV Stick is likely to replace the current standard version of the FireTV Stick.

While the technical details of the FireTV Stick Lite are still unknown at this point. What is known though is what comes inside the box. The FireStick Lite box is to include 2 AAA batteries, an HDMI extender, USB cable, a power adapter, the Fire TV stick itself and an Alexa enabled remote control.

If you look at the remote’s image closely, you will notice it has a new layout. The new remote lacks the power button and volume controls. At this point, we don’t know what function will the TV button performs, but the report hints atAmazon’s possible tie-up with broadcasters to bring their content to Amazon’s streaming devices.

The FireTV Stick Lite pricing details are still unknown. Currently, the basic FireTV Stick retails in India at Rs 2,999. If the Lite edition is meant to replace it, we expect it to be available for the same price.
