All-Electric 2022 BMW Mini Cooper SE Launched In India: Check price, specs, range , features

Electric Vehicles (EVs) are catching up fast in India with many car manufacturers launching them over a few years now. One of the most sought-after German brands BMW has launched an all-electric MINI Cooper in India which is dubbed as MINI 3-Door Cooper SE or simply MINI Cooper SE.  BMW has provided a single fully-loaded variant of the MINI Cooper SE in India that targets a compact premium segment with a green number plate onboard.

BMW MINI Cooper SE Pricing and Availability

The All-Electric BMW MINI Cooper SE is priced at INR 47,20,000 (ex-showroom. It will roll out with a battery warranty of 8 years or up to 1,00,000 kilometers whichever ends first. You can avail of high-speed fast charging on your MINI Cooper SE 3-Door at a vast network of BMW Group Dealers spread across 30 cities in India. It is a CBU (Completely Built-up Unit) and thus, the prices will be calculated for on-road accordingly.

BMW MINI Cooper SE Charging Speed

Since it is all-electric, the charging speed matters a lot. According to BMW, the MINI Cooper SE takes around 36 minutes to charge from 0 to 80% using a 50kW DC charger. It takes around 2 hours 30 minutes for the same capacity for an 11kW AC Charger and finally, a 2.3kW AC Charger will take 9 hours and 43 minutes to juice up the batteries from 0 to 80%.

The BMW MINI Cooper SE roars at a top 184 HP or 135kW of power with a 270 Nm maximum torque onboard. Press the gas hard and you will accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in just 7.3 seconds.

The BMW MINI Cooper SE has a 32.6 kWh battery onboard capable of taking you on a range of 270 km on a single charge. It tasks less than an hour to juice up the battery to its full capacity using the fast chargers available at BMW Group Dealer Network. The single fully-loaded all-electric MINI Cooper SE has four color variants to choose from i.e. British Racing Green, Midnight Black, White Silver, and Moonwalk Grey. It has a mashup of Cloth and Leatheretree upholstery onboard with an 8.8-inch infotainment system, a 5-inch digital multifunction instrument display, brake assists, ABS, rear-view camera, CBC, Crash Sensor to name a few.
