Acer launches Super ZX Series Smartphones in India: First Sale on April 25

Tech brand Acer, known for its PCs and laptops, has now launched its first smartphones in India. Acer has entered the Indian smartphone market by launching the ZX Series, including two smartphones. The Acer Super ZX & Acer Super ZX Pro are equipped with features like clean UI, stereo speakers, IP Ratings for durability, and more. The phones will be sold by Indkal technologies, which has designed, manufactured, and distributed smartphones under the Acer umbrella in the country.

Acer Super ZX Series: Pricing & Availability

The Acer Super ZX starts at Rs. 9990 while the Acer Super ZX Pro has a starting price of Rs. 17,990. The phones will retail via Amazon from 25th April.

The Acer Super ZX Pro is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 7400 chipset with up to 12GB RAM and up to 512GB storage. It boasts of a 6.67-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate and 1000 nits brightness. The phone has a glass back and weighs 182 grams. The Acer ZX Pro is IP64 rated for durability.

In terms of camera, there is a 50MP main sensor at the back with OIS, along with a 5MP ultrawide and 2MP macro lens. At the front is a 50MP sensor for selfies and video calls. The smartphone comes with an in-display ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, WiFi 6, Dolby Atmos, and supports 33W charging for a 5000mAh battery.

The Acer Super ZX is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 6300 SoC and comes in multiple RAM and storage configurations starting from 4 GB+64 GB and all the way up to 8 GB+256 GB. The smartphone flaunts a 6.78-inch FHD+ LCD screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and 800 nits brightness.

In terms of camera, Acer Super ZX packs a 64MP main sensor at the back along with 2MP depth and macro cameras. At the front is a 13MP selfie sensor, and it is capable of 2K video recording.

Additional features included a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, plastic PMMA back design, IP50 rating and more. The smartphone weighs 200 grams and supports 33W wired charging for its 5000mAh battery.
