Honor 7X with 18:9 Display and Dual-Camera Launched in India: Price, Specification and Availability

Converging the ends of 18:9 display and dual-camera smartphones at a mid-range price, Honor, a Huawei sub-brand, announced its Honor 7X in India. This is the second such phone the Chinese smartphone maker has announced in the subcontinent, in fact, their Honor 9i with almost similar features was launched a couple of months back.

Huawei Honor 7X Features and Specifications

The specs of the Indian model of Honor 7X is same as the Chinese one with a slight adjustment in ROM. The phone includes a full-screen full HD+ 5.93-inch (1080×2160 pixels) curved display, featuring an 18:9 screen ratio with visibly thin bezels.

Under the metal unibody design, the Honor 7X rocks on HiSilicon Kirin 659 SoC, an Octa-core Cortex-A53 processor with one 2.36GHz four-core performance cluster and another 1.7GHz power cluster. The processor is mated with 4GB of RAM and two storage options – 32GB and 64GB.

For photography, the Honor 7X sports a duo of 16MP and 2MP cameras at the back and an 8MP camera on the front. In addition to that, the back camera has LED flash and portrait mode.

The dual-hybrid sim setup phone runs on the Android Nougat OS out of the box and houses a 3340mAh battery, to keep the phone up and running. The fingerprint sensor is placed on the rear panel and the connectivity options on the same comprise of 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1 LE and GPS / GLONASS.

Huawei Honor 7X Price and Availability

The two variants of Honor 7X-  32GB, 64GB – have been priced at Rs. 12,999 and Rs. 15,999, respectively. The phone is being offered in Aurora Blue, Gold, and Black color options and will go on sale in India from December 7 onwards only on Amazon.in.
