The Dynamic variant packs a 61.44 kWh battery pack. The rear-wheel drive system generates 201 bhp of peak power and 310 Nm of peak torque. Further, it has a claimed range of 510 kilometers.

This particular variant can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.5 seconds.

The premium variant features a larger 82.56 kWh battery pack paired with a more powerful powertrain, which produces a peak power of 308 bhp and a peak torque of 360 Nm. The BYD Seal Premium variant offers the highest range: up to 650 kilometers.

With a more capable powertrain, the vehicle can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.9 seconds.

Last but not least, there’s the BYD Seal Performance variant, the only trim to feature an all-wheel-drive system. Its powertrain produces a peak power of 523 bhp and a peak torque of 670 Nm. However, the additional power (sent to all four wheels) takes a toll on the variant’s range, reducing it to 580 kilometers.

This is the fastest variant, reaching 0-100 km/h in 3.8 seconds.

BYD is known for equipping its vehicles with many features, and the 2025 BYD Seal is no different. For the first time, the EV comes with powered sunshades for added comfort and convenience. The vehicle’s air conditioning system has also been “upgraded with a larger compressor capacity,” which should enhance its cooling capability.

The ventilation system is also equipped with a new air purification module. The panoramic sunroof has a new silver-plated dimming canopy to elevate the cabin’s ambiance. Other standard features across all variants include wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a 15.6-inch infotainment screen, wireless charging, V2L (Vehicle-to-Load) functionality, and NFC (Near Field Communication) card key entry.

The top-tier BYD Seal Performance makes its debut with the Disus-C system, which enhances stability and comfort by dynamically adjusting the vehicle’s dampers. The system softens the suspension on bumpy city roads and stiffens it during dynamic maneuvers at high speeds.
