Did not meet expectations
I am writing this review after using the television for 6 months. I would like to start from beginning. Right after the purchase and installation of TV the customer receives a call from the company to give 5 star rating to the television and get 3 months extended warranty. I think most of the 5 star reviews are from this technique only. But I waited to write a genuine review after using the TV for a certain period. I will describe the pros and cons as under Pros 1. The picture quality is good. Cons 1. After sales service is the worst. 2. Remote will not last for more than 3 months. 3. No sound clarity on high volumes. 4. Connection issues in live streaming. 5. No brightness control. The customer care email address for registering complaint has been mentioned wrong on the website. Your complaint will be undelivered to the email and after calling to the customer care they will inform you the correct E-mail to lodge a complaint. I would like to share an example, Just after using of the TV for three months, I registered a complaint regarding the sound issue and problem in remote. But the technician who visited just tried to ignore all issues. He replaced the remote with a refurbished one of Thompson stating that no new remote is available of the blaupunkt. Just after few days the replaced remote also stopped working and thereafter the company even within the warranty period started to give excuses. The service provider asked me to install a remote in my mobile and start using it. After again taking up the matter, I was asked to send the remote on my cost to their warehouse for checking. This shows the character. If you will face any big problem in TV, I think the company will not help you. When most of the companies are providing the TVs at almost same prices, I will suggest to go for any good brand with ethics and values in their business. Not for Blaupunkt.
