Xiaomi is out with a new Mi Pad tablet which is likely to replace original Mi Pad. The company has given lot of emphasis on the design of this tablet which is easily noticeable from press renders. In comparison to its predecessor, which has a plastic exterior, Mi Pad 2 flaunts an all-aluminum body. It weighs around 322g (which is an important improvement as the last iteration was a bit heavy) and has a 6.95 slim waist line. In terms of hardware, Xiaomi Mi Pad 2 is powered by a 64-bit Intel Atom Processor X5-Z8500 processor which gets all the necessary assistance from 2GB RAM and 16GB/64GB storage. Taking full advantage of Intel Inside, Xiaomi will also launch a Windows 10 variant this year, which will be compatible with all desktop apps. It sports a gorgeous 7.9-inch 2048x1536 resolution display with 326 ppi (pixel per inch). For photography, Mi Pad 2 has an 8-megapixel main shooter and a 5-megapixel front camera to shoot selfies. Xiaomi Mi Pad 2 comes with wi-fi and USB type C connectivity options.
