Design and Hardware
MTV Slash houses a not very attractive design. The bottom edge of the tablet is a regular clean surface while the top edge has got a 3.5 mm audio jack and a micro usb port. The screen lock button and the dedicated volume keys are located on the left edge. It incorporates a 2 Ghz dual-core processor. The 7 inch tablet has an inbuilt memory of 8 GB, expandable by a micro sd card. The powerhouse of the device is a non-removable 3000 mAh Li-Po battery.
Operating System and Software Features
MTV Slash Tablet runs on Android v4.1 JellyBean. The tablet includes Bluetooth, A-GPS, wifi and 3G support.
Camera and Display
MTV Slash Tablet sports a 5 MP primary camera and has no flash. The camera resolution is 1600x1200 pixels. Daylight pictures are okay with not very fine details to the depth. The camera is capable of video recording. The 0.3 MP front camera serves the purpose like every other VGA setup.
The 7 inch display of the tablet is an IPS LCD display with a resolution of 1024x600 pixels and a capacitive touchscreen. The display is fine but a bit sloppy in the daylight vision.
