i really, really, really wanted this to be a good tablet. it was meant as a gift for someone. but i chose to not gift the tablet, as it is really, really bad. the biggest drawback of this tablet is its horrendously horrible screen. a few one star reviews of this tablet have mentioned the issue, but they have not mentioned the issue clearly. one line, broken English "screen bad" type of issues made me assume that those reviews were written by a rival brand to demote this product. but now, after buying the tablet, I realized that the screen is horrendously horrible! how so? well one half of the screen - the part closer to the buttons is very bright, while the other half is very dull. within a few moments that crazy screen will make you giddy and dizzy. I had to put away the tablet and rest for a while to overcome the dizziness induced by this tablet. i assumed that the bad screen was probably just with the device I had received. so I requested an exchange. Flipkart customer service folks, acting like cops, and treating me like a criminal - conducted a demeaning enquiry by calling me multiple times. finally the exchange was approved. the new tablet I received came in a sealed box. the previous one had its "Security" stickers torn. so, I opened the new box, switched on the tablet and lo-n-behold ... the exact same screen issue popped up! the screen half towards the buttons was more bright than the other half ... inducing dizziness/giddiness/discomfort. that sealed the deal. i chose to not gift this tablet. there was no point in trying to return this item and go through another day long demeaning enquiry by some low class, uneducated, uncouth Flipkart customer service representative. so, now the tablet has been relegated to a throw away someday box. i ended up buying and gifting a popular brand tablet (about 5k) to our maid-amma's son as he wants to prepare for his CA course. bottom line: should you buy it? absolutely no ... unless you want to feel dizzy and giddy everytime you use this tablet.

The Tab is good an value for money. i got it for RS 2699/- including Rs 300 credit card discount. The price at time of purchase is Rs 2999/- Flip kart delivered on time. All apps are running smoothly on Android 8 Oreo Go Edition. Battery backup could be better . you can use maps only for direction and not navigate on drive as there is no GPS . It could be better if there was compass app and magnetic sensor provided with it. Finally the tab was worth the money.
