Frequently Asked Questions
Can I make and receive calls on the Huawei Watch GT 6 46mm?
Absolutely! The watch has a built-in speaker and microphone for Bluetooth calling. As long as your phone is within range, you can answer calls directly from your wrist or even use the watch to dial your favorite contacts.
Is the GPS accurate for running and cycling in Indian cities?
It’s very reliable thanks to the new Sunflower Positioning System and dual-band GPS. It even supports NavIC, which is India’s own satellite system, ensuring your tracking stays precise even when you're moving between tall buildings or under thick tree cover.
Does the Huawei Watch GT 6 have a dedicated blood pressure or ECG sensor?
The standard Watch GT 6 46mm tracks heart rate, SpO2, and skin temperature, but it does not have an ECG or blood pressure sensor. If those medical-grade features are a dealbreaker, you’ll want to look at the Watch GT 6 Pro or the Huawei Watch D2 instead.
Can I use the Huawei Watch GT 6 46mm for swimming?
Yes, it’s built for the water with a 5ATM rating and IP69 resistance. This means you can take it for a swim in the pool or even a dip in the ocean without worry, though it isn't meant for deep-sea diving or high-speed water sports.
Does it support contactless payments like UPI or NFC in India?
While the hardware has NFC capabilities, contactless payments are currently not supported for Indian banks or UPI apps. You can use it for health and smart features, but you'll still need your phone or card for checking out at stores.
Is the display bright enough to see in direct sunlight?
The screen is one of its best features, hitting a massive 3,000 nits of peak brightness. Whether you're out for a mid-day run in the peak of summer or just checking a text outdoors, the AMOLED display remains perfectly crisp and readable.
