Good durable device
As advertised, it doesn't cut or pull hair like other shavers. However, there are two trimmers, above and below the shavers, intended to size-down hair before it hits the shavers, apparently. This could give hair a tug if you are going too fast. Also, this model does NOT contain a back extension, to shave the back area, or hard to reach places. IMPORTANT : Some dude below says that you can shave your face with this. This, according to Phiips, and my use, as well, is not advisable. Because, this is designed not to cut hair fine, but its focused on sensitivity, so it won't do a good job on your face, and you may not like the results to your beard. It may also cause some form of damage. This does NOT contain any other extensions other than a 3mm comb. That's it. Not even the brush. It does contain an interesting stand, but i don't want to display a shaver with "BODYGROOM" written all over it, while i'm charging it. I've only tried dry shaving. This isn't going to take away all hair in one swoop, and leave your skin as smooth as a baby's, for you hairy dudes out there, it takes some time, and some slow movements. Better adjust, or get disappointed. Also, the shaver doesn't cut hair to the root in one sweep, it leaves off as much as a one-day chin growth. All in all, an economy bodygroomer. Got mine for 1950. Won't pay anymore for it. Charge times are too high, but hey, Big PRO : It is WATERPROOF You can shave in a shower too. The wet shave is going to be much more pleasant, i feel, but haven't tried it yet. Will update after trying out.

This is good product and quite impressive. Charging time is as mentioned. Washable, easy to use. Good docking charger, led indicator for charging/low battery. close shave without much irritation.The manual is informative and very useful.

Horrible product
Well I rarely write extreme reviews, however after having used this product I feel compelled to educate other readers on this. I had been using Philips trimmers for body grooming purpose and it worked fine (though I used it very occasionally). I wanted to buy body groomer for a long time but the product was not available in India till recently. Philips has a range of body grooming products, however only one is available in India (BG2024/15), so I bought it recently after researching extensively and reading favorable reviews. But I was really disappointed with it! First of all, flipkart service was unexpectedly bad. I am a big fan of flipkart delivery, but it took 12 days and couple of follow-ups to finally receive the product. After that, I could not register the product online to get additional benefit of one year extended warranty as he product serial number was missing from the packaging. I contacted customer care but they could not solve my query. Anyways this was a minor aspect. Bigger issue was the product itself. It is a combination of trimmer (top and bottom part of the shaver section) and foil based electric shaver; so that it does trimming and shaving. Sadly it fails in both the aspects; it neither trims well (the longer hairs so that shaver can shave it further) as the shaver interferes the process, and shavers doesn't work well as trimmer has not trimmed the hair. I thought I was not using the product properly, but I tried all different combination i.e. using it with comb attachment and without it; using it in running water and without it. but no success. Every time I am left with painful experience, rashes all over chest, much longer time taken, and all the mess that is created in the bathroom. I feel a normal trimmer does the job much faster, more efficiently and accurately, and in a safe manner. I cant believe that there could be this basic flaw in the product design! Please refrain from buying this product
