Zoppo Speed 7 Plus is one of the few budget Android phones which offer 3GB RAM, though the number is bound to rapidly increase in the next few weeks. The best price of Zoppo Speed 7 Plus in India is 14,990 INR at the time of writing.
The handset includes a 5.5 Inch full HD display with black bezels on side, which create an illusion of edge to edge display when the screen is off. since it is a full HD panel, all test is expected to be sharp and crisp. The outside casing flaunts a brushed metal finish ( material used is plastic). Software is Android 5.1 Lollipop based customized UI. The launcher includes app drawer and default icons are square. They don't look hideous as is the case with several Chinese roms. Settings menu and notification panel adopt Googles material design without much alteration.
The handset is powered by MediaTek's MT6753 octa core chip assisted with ample 3GB RAM and 16GB expandable storage. For photography, there is a 13.2 MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera. Zoppo claims the 3000 mAh battery will deliver 18 hours of maximum talk time and 300 hours of standby time, which sounds pretty reasonable if true.
The Zoppo Speed 7 Plus checks all the right boxes on paper, though we will reserve our final judgement till we have done our full review. The handset is presently selling exclusively on Amazon.
