Xiaomi Mi Mix 2

The Mi Mix 2 is the successor of Chinese brand Xiaomi's hugely popular Mi Mix smartphones that garnered great reviews from fans and critics alike, courtesy its unique design. Following from that front, the Mi Mix 2 features an infinity display that runs right from the forehead of the screen thus, ditching the earpiece, front camera and proximity sensor from the top. Talking about its design, the Mi Mix 2 has got screen round edges from the top, whereas the bottom of the phone features slim bezels, where an 8MP front camera is spotted. The back of the phone has got the ceramic body, with a 16MP rear camera mounted on it along with an LED flash. The edges of the phone have been given a metallic frame. Coming to the specifications, since the company ditches on the visible earpiece, there will be a "piezoelectric speaker" placed under the Mi Mix 2's 5.99-inch Full HD display. Underneath it, the phone is powered by 2.45Ghz octa-core Snapdragon 835 processor backed by 6GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage. To keep the lights on is the 3400mAh turbocharging battery. At the software front, the phone runs on MIUI 9 based Android Nougat software out of the box. The connectivity options on Mi Mix 2 include 4G VoLTE, Fingerprint sensor, dual-band Wi-Fi a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2 LE, NFC, GPS, and GLONASS. The fingerprint sensor is placed on the back of the phone, just below the camera. The phone has been best priced in India at Rs 35,999 and will be exclusively available at the Flipkart and Mi India's website. For a start, the phone will be on preview sale from October 17 onwards.
