Chinese smartphone maker, Vivo, announced its 18:9 display smartphone in a budget segment. Nicknamed as the Vivo V7, the phone is the younger sibling of Vivo V7+ with which it shares quite a few similarities.
The highlight of the V7 is its front, where we have a full vision 5.7-inch HD+IPS (1440 X 720) display - a tad smaller yet compact display than the Vivo V7+. Under the hood, the V7 is powered by Qualcomm’s 14nm based 1.8GHz octa-core Snapdragon 450, paired with 4GB and 32GB inbuilt storage. You can further add up to 256GB of secondary microSD card storage.
Vivo V7 has the same camera optics as the V7+. There is a 16MP rear camera with f/2.0 aperture and LED flash, and a 24MP front selfie camera with soft selfie flash and f/2.0 aperture.
Out of the box, the Vivo V7 runs on Android Nougat well accustomed to company's Funtouch OS 3.2. The fingerprint sensor is mounted at the back of the phone and the lightweight, Vivo V7, houses a 3000mAh non-removable battery. Connectivity options on the same comprise of dual-sim, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2, HiFi audio, and 3.5mm audio jack.
The Vivo V7 has been best priced at Rs. 18,990 and will be available from November 24 onwards. In India, it will be available on Flipkart in Matte Black and Gold color options and at all major offline stores as well.
