With the release of its V5s smartphone, Chinese-based smartphone maker Vivo has now established a quartet (counting in the IPL edition as well) of handsets as a part of its V5 series of smartphones. The phone stays true to the V5 series in terms of specifications and design, barring a few tweaks here and there.
The phone's U-shaped antenna bands lend it a similar touch as its other colleagues, while its inbuilt storage limit (64GB) has been revved up to twice the capacity of the company's V5 smartphone (that came with a 32GB ROM in tow).
Apart from that, the features a 5.5-inch display with a 2.5D curved glass on the top, and makes use of the same processor (MediaTek MT6750) and RAM (4GB) as its predecessor. Other than that, the software used is the Android Marshmallow-based FunTouch OS (version 2.6), while a 3,000mAH battery has been entrusted with the job of keeping the V5s throbbing.
Optically, the phone comes equipped with a 13MP camera on the back having LED Flash and PDAF. Coming to the other side, the phone is yet another addition to Vivo's fledgling selfie-centric smartphone population and flaunts a 20MP camera having a Sony IMX376 1/2.78″ sensor, front moonlight flash and an f/2.0 aperture lens.
The phone is currently out in the market and the Vivo V5s best price in India is 18,990INR.
