Tecno smartphone company is owned by Hong Kong-based Transsion Holdings. The company has managed to maintain a good profile in the entry-level segment. As of now, Tecno is back with its Tecno Spark Go 2020 edition. This is an entry-level smartphone with a compact 6.52-inch HD+ resolution display with a waterddrop notch for the selfie camera. Under the hood, the phone has an entry-level Helio A20 SoC coupled with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of onboard storage. Tecno Spark Go 2020 will run on Android 10 out of the box. For power back, the phone houses a 5,000mAh battery underneath.

Display and Camera

Tecno Spark Go 2020 comes fitted with a 6.52-inch color IPS LCD multitouch display. The screen as an HD+(720x1600px) resolution with a pixel density of 273PPI. Based on the screen configuration, the visuals from the display are expected to be a slight average. Like most of the entry-level smartphones, the display has bezels around with a thick bezel chin. The display has a waterdrop notch with an aspect ratio of 20:9.

Tecno Spark Go 2020 has a dual 13MP rear camera with dual-LED flash. More features included in the camera app are Autofocus, Digital zoom, and Autoflash. Average photography can be sorted out with the help of the camera. For selfies and video calls, the notch houses a 8MP camera with a flash. As far as the video recording is concerned, you may capture 720p videos @30fps using the rear camera.

Tecno Spark Go 2020 will run on the Android 10 operating system out of the box. The phone has an entry-level MediaTek Helio A20 chipset with 8-performing cores. For the background activities and multitasks, the phone has an average of 2GB of RAM. And, the graphical demands of the phone for needy apps and games is handled by a budget IMG PowerVR GE8300 GPU. Useful sensors included on the phone are Accelerometer, Light Sensor, and Proximity sensor.

Tecno Spark Go 2020 edition is backed by an average 5,000mAh Li-ion battery underneath. Tecno phones are widely popular for their battery size and performance, but this 2020 edition Tecno Spark Go seems to lose that title. Also, the battery inside Tecno Spark Go 2020 is removable which is helpful when the phone freezes.
