Samsung Galaxy S26 FE Review: 6 Things I Like & 5 Things I Wish Were Better About It
#ExpertReview
Here’s one thing about the Galaxy S26 FE that nobody is really talking about. This year, the “Fan Edition” is restricted to one memory and storage configuration. The 128GB and the 512GB variants are gone, and if you don’t already know this, the reason is the ongoing memory crisis. Samsung sells exactly one configuration this year: 8GB RAM, 256GB storage, Rs. 79,999, take it or leave it.
There’s also a quieter reversal buried in here: this is the first phone in the entire S26 family, including the flagship Ultra, to ship with One UI 9 out of the box. From what I’ve seen, the “Fan Edition” usually catches up to the flagships. This time, it’s ahead of them. I spent my review period trying to figure out whether that inversion, and the single-SKU pricing that comes with it, actually changes how this phone feels to live with day to day.
