No Paper it is strong but not upto to the mark while using
I have been using this mobile since 10 days. First things first I joined poco official telegram groups and then I tried asking them about Security update (not Miui12 update) because I bought mobile at the end of August it's still in June security patch. For anyone who buys the mobile they expect the updates atleast for 1.5/2 years. They launch this mobile in May and they are not providing updates after 2 months how can we expect long term updates from this. I have noticed n number of lags while using the mobile. As some apps are banned so I tried asking them about the same in their official telegram channel will give an update. Very funny 🤣. They gave last update in June I guess (before I bought) after that no updates. I tried restart/switch off and on but of no use so many issues. Even noticed call drops and ear piece problems. I'll send wait for a month if I get any update then I'll edit my review again if there is a chance. All the problems with the mobile can be fixed with an update which is badly needed.
Terrific purchase
Writing this review from my poco m2 pro device after using it for 10+ days. First things first, the look and feel of the phone is much better than expected. The performance of the phone is excellent. I'm a moderate user and it handles all of it without much fuss. Ram management and multi tasking is great as is switching of apps. Camera is the average in this price range. Not too good not too bad, just average. My biggest issue with the display is that it is not bright enough. Maybe it's the screen protector or the auto brightness is not calibrated well; however even on maximum brightness it is not that good looking although the viewing angles are good. Let's talk about the battery now which is great. Especially the charging time is very fast and it charges about 60-65% in just half an hour. I am yet to do a full charge from 0-100 so can't tell about the full charging time. I'm not a heavy gamer so have done only casual gaming for a few hours. It handles the small games like temple and subway surfers easily and I was able to play COD at high graphics without any lags. I'm yet to try it with very high graphics. Finally I would like to reiterate that this is redmi note 9 pro with faster charging but it's okay for me as it is a value for money device. I have purchased the highest variant of 6+128gb. Pro tip: try to opt for the black color as the best back cover is provided with this color. Other cases just become yellowish after a few days. Overall rating: 4.2/5
