Frequently Asked Questions
Does the POCO C81 support 5G connectivity?
No, the POCO C81 does not support 5G networks and is restricted to 4G LTE connectivity. If you absolutely need a future-proof 5G device, you will have to look at other alternatives in this price segment. However, it handles standard 4G networks and calling without any issues.
How long does the battery last on the POCO C81 mobile phone?
Battery life is easily the standout feature of this phone thanks to 6,300mAh capacity. It comfortably delivers multi-day endurance on a single charge under regular usage conditions. It is an excellent choice if your primary concern is not running out of juice during long days away from a charger.
How long does it take to fully charge the POCO C81?
Because the phone packs a 6,300mAh battery but only supports a restricted 15W charging speed, it takes a long time to juice up completely. You can expect it to stay plugged in for well over two hours to go from zero to full. Your best bet is to charge it overnight so the slow speed does not get in your way.
What are the display specifications of the POCO C81?
The phone features an expansive 6.9-inch display, making it fantastic for streaming videos and media consumption. It also supports a fluid 120Hz refresh rate, which provides an exceptionally smooth scrolling experience that is quite rare at this entry-level price point.
Does the POCO C81 have any performance lag or heating issues?
Yes, real-world usage shows that the phone suffers from sluggish performance and clear user interface lag under moderate multitasking. It also experiences overheating and performance throttling during extended usage or heavier tasks. The device is definitely built for basic, everyday activities rather than intensive gaming.
How many software updates will the POCO C81 receive in India?
The phone comes with an impressive software policy promising 4 major Android OS upgrades, which is remarkable for a budget device. This ensures you will get new features and security support for years to come. Just keep in mind that the 4GB RAM capacity might make it a bit tough for the hardware to run heavier future software smoothly.
