Oppo F1 Plus, the rebranded R9, was introduced in India for 26,990 INR on 5th April, 2016. Keeping previous Oppo announcements in mind, the Chinese smartphone maker has been generous with hardware to price ratio this time around (though it’s still far cry from what most people expect from Chinese brands).
Talking of features and specifications, the Oppo F1 includes a 5.5 Inch Full HD AMOLED display, shielded with 2.5 D Gorilla Glass 4 layer for better aesthetic appear and protection against scratches or accidental falls. For smooth sailing, F1 Plus relies on mid-range 64 bit octa-core Helio P10 processor, coupled with ample 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. You can also add up to 128GB secondary SD card storage.
All said and done, Oppo is counting on the camera hardware to sell the F1 Plus. There is 13MP rear camera with LED Flash, f/2.2 aperture, PDAF that can record 4K videos. For the first time, selfie camera surpasses rear camera in terms of resolution.
On the front side, there is a large 16MP sensor with F2.0 aperture lens that can capture detailed selfies. Other features include 4G LTE, Bluetooth 4.1, hybrid dual SIM, GPS and Android 5.1 (Lollipop) based Color OS 2.5. The handset includes a 2850 mAh battery with fast VOOC charging supported.
The lowest price of Oppo F1 Plus will be 26,990 INR at the time of official launch. The handset will go on sale in April, 2016. It will primarily target offline distribution network, but you also be able to buy Oppo F1 Plus online in India after its available on retail shelves.read more →
